$16,500,000 Settlement – Memory Care Fall Wrongful Death Case

SGG Law fought for and obtained a $16,500,000 Settlement for a wrongful death case against an Assisted Living Facility in Sonoma County.

What Happened

The Facility was understaffed and without proper management and the elder, who was in the memory care unit, suffered multiple unwitnessed falls. The resident suffered a hip fracture and severe pain after the last fall.

The elder’s health deteriorated as a result of the avoidable fracture sustained at the Facility and ultimately the elder died as a result of this avoidable neglect.
